As part of ongoing  work to improve the performance and reliability of our mirror sites, we will be upgrading the underlying website architecture. While the upgrade takes place, the Ensembl mirror sites (USWest, USEast and Asia) will be intermittently unavailable for short periods between Monday 8th August and Friday 12th August 2022.

While the mirror sites are unavailable, you will be able to continue using Ensembl using the main Ensembl site, which will be unaffected. All other services, for example REST and public MySQL will be unaffected.
