The Ensembl mobile site will be retired in the Ensembl 106 release.

The mobile version of Ensembl was launched about 10 years ago to provide a much simpler version of Ensembl for lookup of gene based information with search capability and gene summary pages but no graphical data representation.

With the advent of the Ensembl 2020 site, which will be designed to work with mobile, tablet and laptop screens alike, along with a general trend for mobile devices with larger screens, the Ensembl mobile site will be retired in the upcoming Ensembl 106 release (February 2022). Once retired, all visitors of the Ensembl mobile site will be automatically redirected to the main Ensembl site.
